These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of products or services from Akiliwo Connect Nigeria Ltd (RC 9550933) ("we", "us", "our"), located at House 103, Bazango Plaza, Arab Road, Kubwa, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Akiliwo Connect Nigeria Ltd is a CAC-registered technology and e-commerce business that sells electronics, phones, laptops, accessories, cosmetics and household items, and provides website development and IT services. We do not offer financial services, investments, or any business prohibited by our payment provider.
2. Products and descriptions
We sell both brand-new and clean UK-used (pre-owned) devices, which are clearly labelled. We make every effort to describe and picture items accurately, but slight variations in colour, packaging or appearance may occur. Pre-owned items are sold in tested working condition; minor cosmetic wear is normal and expected on used goods.
3. Prices and availability
All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and may change without notice. Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, or if a price was displayed in error, we may cancel the order and give you a full refund. We are not obliged to fulfil an order placed at an obviously incorrect price.
4. Orders and payment
An order is an offer to buy. We accept it once payment is confirmed. Payments are processed securely online through Paystack as one-time payments; we never see or store your card details. You are responsible for giving accurate contact and delivery information at checkout.
5. Delivery
We deliver within Nigeria. Delivery times and fees vary by location and are confirmed at or after checkout. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, incorrect addresses you provide, or events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Returns, refunds and cancellations
If an item is not delivered, you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, in their original condition and packaging, for a replacement or refund after inspection. Refunds are made to your original payment method via Paystack. Where the return is due to our error, we cover return costs; otherwise the customer is responsible for return delivery. Used devices that are working as described are not returnable for change of mind.
7. Warranty
New products carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Pre-owned (UK-used) devices are confirmed working at the point of sale and are not covered by a manufacturer warranty; any limited testing/return period is as stated on the product or agreed in writing. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse after delivery.
8. Services
Website development and IT services are provided for a one-time fee as agreed. Project scope, timelines and deliverables will be confirmed with you before work begins.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the website lawfully, and not to attempt to defraud us or other users. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to buy from us.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under applicable Nigerian consumer law.
11. Intellectual property
The content, logo and design of this website belong to Akiliwo Connect Nigeria Ltd and may not be copied without permission.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
